Avram Alpert of Princeton has written an interesting piece, ‘Philosophy’s systemic racism‘ exposing the absurd defence of establishment philosophy that the racism of major European philosophers had no impact on their philosophy.
I have been studying this issue for many decades and in 1974 I described this nexus as ‘western philosophy’s self misunderstanding’.
However Alpert makes a couple of wrong turns. He claims dialectic was born in Greece and is infected with racism and needs saving. Dialectic does not need ‘saving’ because it originated in Africa… Plato acquired it from the ancient Egyptians and acknowledged this. Given they were Africans there clearly were no anti African roots to the ideas.(https://www.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/gallery/kemet/)
Also he accidentally omitted genocide as an underlying dynamic for these racisms – the material basis. This racism only makes full sense within a dynamic of sponsorship of genocide which requires non- white races to not only have contributed nothing to civilisation but to be incapable of contributing anything to civilization in future. In such a view these peoples are so much traife and as Gilbert and Sullivan so well put it in The Mikado – ‘ they never would be missed’ . It is actually amusing to repeat the original lyrics (later cleaned up ):
As some day it may happen that a victim must be found
I’ve got a little list — I’ve got a little list[Chorus]
He’s got ‘em on the list — he’s got ‘em on the list;
And they’ll none of ‘em be missed — they’ll none of ‘em be missed[KO-KO]
They never would be missed — they never would be missed!»
It is important not to let the racism be seen as a mere negative perception but as a programme of genocide…that was the core of the project, as when Kant recommended the ‘euthanasia’ of Judaism. Heydrich was simply assisting ‘the Master’.
There is so much to do … there are lies on lies over the years making unmasking like a work of enormous archeology going down from one level to another, unravelling one lie to reveal another… a Russian doll of false images .
La lutta continua…
