NIGERIA: WALE EDUN MUST GO!!!!

agent of the financial oligarchy

Wale Edun is in part a mere parrot for the World Bank and does not even understand what he is parroting. But worse yet, he is an agent for a national financial oligarchy that wants Nigeria to be destroyed because they will profit from its destruction. HE MUST GO!

Wale Edun is quoted as saying:

Emphasis on Service Sector

In addition, Edun said the government is laying emphasis on the service sector to provide employment opportunities for young Nigerians.

He mentioned that these young demographics who are in the sector can have outsource their skills through the internet and telephones.

According to the Minister, the government will continue to support the economy through various strategic interventions to reduce the high cost of living caused by rising inflation.

“In particular, we identify that the service sector—such as software services, accounting services, computer services—which can be provided by young Nigerians. These Nigerians staying in Nigeria and providing services through the internet and telephone. Outsourcing was a big area we emphasized on.

“In nutshell, we reported that there was good progress being made and efforts are going to continue to ensure that the interventions to ameliorate the high cost of living for individuals, agricultural sectors, small scale business,” Edun added.

It is quite clear  that  Edun  has no understanding of the outsourcing market or the place of Tata, Wipro and Infosys. He has no idea of the competitive field. To suggest that outsourcing is a mere matter of an internet connection and a phone is so seriously misguided that dismissal is required.

Wipro,Tata and Infosys are major capitalised companies valued in billions of USD.

A major issue for outsourcing has been quality control.  A bunch of young people with phones and an internet connection  is a mere accident waiting to happen. Any understanding of the history of outsourcing or its challenges would have rendered the idea that outsourcing is just for young people totally absurd. Someone at the World Bank has suggested consider outsourcing. Without a moment’s thought Wale Edun has parroted this idea.  Once his proposals go the way of all flesh outsourcing will be discredited and people will say ‘we tried that it did not work’. It will also allow Edun to say to the World Bank ‘yes, we followed up on your suggestions!’

This is the financial oligarchy at work. They are deliberately bankrupting the country in order to go begging for loans and then steal money from the loans. This is not an original scam. This has been done in other countries many times before. A description of how it was done in France is given in ‘https://african-century.org/nigerian-political-elite-catastrophic-failure/’.

While mouthing concern for the country, this financial oligarchy works hard for its destruction.  When foreigners make suggestions that even might work these suggestions must be either trashed or proposed in a form that makes them ridiculous.

Even good ideas will die in this man’s hands. WALE EDUN MUST GO!
